Abstract Submission

Participants wishing to present an Oral, e-Poster, or Video Presentation within the framework of the Congress topics are invited to submit their abstract according to the submission guidelines.

Submission Method
Abstracts must be submitted electronically only, via the official Congress website and online submission system.

Online submission opens 9 March 2026

Submission deadline 15 June 2026

Oral Presentations
Maximum duration: 7 minutes (including discussion).

e-Posters
Presented exclusively in electronic format. Depending on time available in the programme, selected e-Posters may be accompanied by a short 3-minute presentation.

Video Presentations
Maximum duration: 6 minutes, followed by 3 minutes for discussion.


Awards
The Organizing Committee will award the three best presentations in each category (Oral, e-Poster, Video).

Authors wishing their work to be considered for an award must indicate “CANDIDATE FOR AWARD” in the “Comments” field during submission.

Important:A prerequisite for award consideration is prior acceptance by the author(s) for publication in the official HUA journal, Hellenic Urology.

Submission Instructions

  • The abstract title must be capitalised.
  • The author’s name and surname must be capitalized and written in full.
  • Work premises, academic institutions, as well as the equivalent city or town must be listed and capitalised. Specific addresses and postcodes will be deleted, as they are not required. The aforementioned information will be presented in ascending order, according to the order the authors’ names are written and in correspondence to the use of indicators.
  • Abstracts must be structured as follows:
    • INTRODUCTION/PURPOSE
    • MATERIAL & METHOD
    • RESULTS
    • CONCLUSION
  • Abstracts must not exceed 300 words.
  • The maximum number of attaching files (photographs, diagrams, etc.) is three (3).
  • The author responsible for the submission has the ability to make changes to the abstract via the on-line system until the expiry of the submission deadline. After the expiry of the deadline, the system automatically locks and the submission is considered final. Therefore, there is no ability to make changes or corrections to the abstract submission.
  • The submitted abstracts will be evaluated by the Scientific Committee of the Conference. The author responsible for the submission is automatically informed by the system about the successful submission of the paper.
  • Any corrections or changes after the expiry of the deadline will be accepted only by unanimous decision of the Evaluation Committee.
  • Choosing the desired type of presentation (e-Poster, video) is necessary while submitting the abstract so as to allow correct classification. The author responsible for the submission is required to specify the type of presentation and the topic while submitting the abstract through the on-line system.
  • The Scientific Committee reserves the right to recommend, during the evaluation process, a different topic and presentation type. The author responsible for the submission will receive the relevant notification after the evaluation process is over.
  • A prerequisite for the acceptance of the abstract to be presented at the Conference is that the author responsible for the presentation has registered to the Conference. Each author cannot submit more than three (3) abstracts as a first, corresponding author.
  • The evaluation results will be announced to the author who submitted the abstract by 15/07/2026. Authors whose paper has been accepted for presentation will be notified in time regarding the date and the time their paper will be presented.
  • The submission of abstracts before the deadline expires is also a prerequisite for their acceptance.
  • Papers that do not meet the above criteria will not be accepted.
